Recycling Schedule Changed In Howell For July 4th Holiday
The holiday weekend will have changes to collection times and office hours in Howell.
HOWELL, NJ — Howell Township will have changes to its recycling center schedule and collection for the July 4th holiday weekend, the town announced.
The Howell Township Recycling Center will be closed Friday for the holiday and will reopen Saturday at 7:30 a.m.
Those in Zone J, whose recycling collection is scheduled for Friday, will have their recycling picked up on Saturday. Please have your recycling cans at the curb on Friday night, officials said.

Township offices close at 1:30 p.m. Thursday and will be closed Friday for the holiday.
The township's summer office hours are in effect through Friday, Aug. 29. Those hours are as follows:

- Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Tax Collector’s Office, Township Manager’s Office, Municipal Court, and Police Records will operate extended hours from:
- Monday-Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Drop boxes will also be available at the Fire Bureau and Community Development offices so materials and payments may be dropped off any time the building is open.
