Road Closure, Detours In Place For Sewer Work In Howell

New Jersey American Water has started a sanitary sewer main installation project in Howell, authorities said.

HOWELL, NJ — New Jersey American Water has started a three-week project to install a sanitary sewer main in Howell Township, officials said.

The installation project will mean the closure of Yellowbrook Road while the construction is completed. The closure will be in place 24 hours a day Mondays through Fridays.

Detours will be in place, with traffic diverted around the area from Cranberry Road to Colts Neck Road, to Adelphia Farmingdale Road.

School buses and emergency dispatch are aware of the road closure, officials said.

Yellowbrook Road will be reopened on the weekends.
