Lake Cleanup Effort Still Seeks Participants, SAT Prep, High School Picture Day

This is what you need to know for Wednesday.
- The Lake Hopatcong Community Cleanup Event scheduled for Nov. 9 from 8 a.m. until noon still needs volunteers. In conjunction with the drawdown that began last month, the Lake Hopatcong Foundation is coordinating a lake-wide community clean-up effort of areas that can be accessed during the lower lake level. The rain or shine cleanup will be postponed until Nov. 16 only in the case of extreme weather. - Make sure your high school senior looks sharp: Wednesday is 12th Grade Photo Day at Jefferson Township High School. The photographer gets to work at 2:30 p.m. and will continue with senior photos Thursday and Friday after school as well. By the way, mom and dad, make sure your kids' brains are sharp too—Wednesday offers an SAT Preparation session at the high school at 6:30 p.m.
- Jefferson Township Cub Scout Pack 49, Den 9 meets Wednesday at White Rock School at 2:45 p.m. The school is located at
- The JTHS Boys Soccer Association gathers Wednesday evening for its regular meeting, which will feature a group Pasta Dinner. The event kicks off at 5:15 p.m. at the high school.
