Two Government Meetings on Tap

Happy Monday, and congratulations to all our readers who are Green Bay Packer fans. As you recover from Super Bowl Sunday festivities, here are five things you need to know today:

1. You Need to Know About Skiing: The ski team competes in a Liberty League meet today at 4 p.m. at Hidden Valley.
2. You Need to Know About Girls Basketball: The Lady Falcons have advanced in the Morris County Tournament after defeating Villa Walsh last weekend. They will take on Randolph in the next round, after games against Pope John and Morris Hills this week.
3. You Need to Know About This Meeting: The Jefferson Township council will meet this Wednesday, Feb. 9. A budget meeting will take place at 6 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 7 p.m.
4. You Need to Know About This Event: The Jefferson library offers a teen craft night tonight at 7 p.m.
5. You Need to Know About County Government: The Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders meets on Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Public Administration Building in Morristown.
