3 Men Sexually Assaulted And Robbed 2 Women In Jersey City Apartment: Prosecutor

Three men are charged with kidnapping, sexual assault, and robbery for assaulting 2 women in a Jersey City apartment, prosecutors say.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Three men were charged Friday with kidnapping, sexually assaulting, and robbing two women in a Jersey City apartment, prosecutors announced Monday.

Mohamed Mohamed, 24, Abdalla Abdelsalam Elsayed, 20, and Mahmoud Hegazi, 18, all of Jersey City, were charged with, according to Hudson County prosecutors: two counts of kidnapping, two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, two counts of second-degree aggravated sexual assault, two counts of robbery, two counts of computer criminal activity, and other charges.

They were arrested at their Jersey City residences on Friday, said prosecutors.

Prosecutors said that on Wednesday, Sept. 11, two women reported that they were robbed and sexually assaulted in an apartment on Bergen Avenue.

"During the investigation it was determined the female victims arranged to meet the three defendants," prosecutors said. "While at the apartment, the women were held against their will and sexually assaulted. A gun was shown and money was stolen from the victims."

The state has filed a motion to detain the three men, which is scheduled to be heard this Wednesday, Sept. 25, prosecutors said.
