83-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies Following Jersey City Hit-And Run

JERSEY CITY, NJ — The 83-year-old woman who was hit by a car in Jersey City on Wednesday has died of her injuries, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's office.
Judith Baller Fabian, 83, died of her injuries on Thursday night.
Fabian was crossing John F. Kennedy Boulevard on Wednesday night when she was hit by a car and severely injured. The car left the area. Fabian was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center where she was in critical condition. She died on Thursday night.

The cause and manner of death is under investigation by the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
The car that hit Fabian is believed to be a maroon sedan. The crash is still under investigation. No charges have been filed.
