Arson Investigation Launched After Jersey City Fire Hospitalizes Woman
The Hudson County Arson Task Force is investigating a fire early Tuesday morning that sent a Jersey City woman to the hospital.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Arson investigators are probing a fire in Jersey City on Tuesday morning that sent a woman to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Jersey City Fire Department responded around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday to 81 Wade St., said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
They found an unresponsive 61-year-old woman with serious injuries.

She was taken by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment, where she remains in critical but stable condition, prosecutors said.
The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation by the Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force and the Jersey City Fire Department. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Prosecutor’s Office at 201-915-1345 or to leave a tip online. All information will be kept confidential.
