Cancer Survivor Opens First Weed Dispensary In Downtown Jersey City
The woman-owned Downtown Flwr opened Friday. It's Jersey City's second cannabis dispensary and the first in downtown.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Cancer survivor Amanda Handy knows well that cannabis can help people struggling with medical issues. On Friday, she was part of a team opening a new dispensary in Jersey City to help others access the substance.
The dispensary is now the second cannabis store to open in Jersey City and the first one in the downtown area.
It will eventually be able to sell cannabis for recreational use, but is now open just for medical use, officials said.
