JERSEY CITY, NJ — Who's on your ballot for the Tuesday elections?

Seven people filed to run for mayor of Jersey City to replace Steve Fulop, whose term ends in January.

The seven candidates are:

  • Former New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey
  • Former school board president Mussab Ali
  • Police Officer Christina Freeman
  • Musician Kalki Jayne-Rose
  • Hudson County Commissioner Bill O'Dea
  • Councilman James Solomon
  • Councilwoman Joyce Watterman

Other Local Races

Additionally, four candidates are running for 32nd Dist. Assembly. Two Democrats and two Republicans are running. Voters can choose any two.

The candidates are:

  • Stephen Bishop (R)
  • Kaushal Patel (R)
  • Ravi Bhalla (D)
  • Katie Brennan (D)

There's also a partisan race for county sheriff.

Early voting on the machines will be held from Oct. 25 through Nov. 2. More information is here.

Nov. 4 is the general election, and votes can be cast on the machine or via mail until 8 p.m. that day.
