Emergency Repairs Cut Water To Catherine Court In Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Water is temporarily cut to homes on Catherine Court near Garfield Avenue as SUEZ crews perform emergency repairs.

Services will likely be cut from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. according to SUEZ.

The utility company recommends the following to minimize inconvenience:

• Be sure your faucets are not running. This will help prevent possible water damage.
• Check your plumbing fixtures and your water meter to make sure that there is no leakage after service is restored.
• Filling containers with water to use while your service is shut off.
