Global Tech Firm Opens Headquarters In Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Add one to the growing list of companies and businesses that have chosen to open their headquarters in Jersey City.

Hexaware, a global technical firm, cut the ribbon this past week on its new headquarters at 185 Hudson St., in the Harborside area of the city.

Their new 24th-floor space offers waterfront views.

The firm describes itself as a "global leader in IT, AI, and digital solutions."

Gov. Phil Murphy emphasized New Jersey's role as a thriving technology hub, saying, "Hexaware's decision to establish its global business headquarters in Jersey City is a testament to New Jersey's growing reputation as a hub for global innovation and technology."

Lt. Governor Tahesha Way attended a ribbon-cutting on Tuesday morning. Also present was Taylor Bodman, a partner at Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), which has been a client of Hexaware for 20 years, the tech firm said.

The proximity of other firms that work with Hexaware was one of the reasons the company chose to open in Jersey City, said Hexaware's chief marketing officer, Nidhi Alexander.
