Here is the median salary for Jersey City principals and administrators, including the superintendents.

JERSEY CITY, NJ —The state has released information showing how much school districts budgeted for the salaries of principals, superintendents, and administrators in 2019.

For the Jersey City Public School District, the median salary is $143,600 the 57th highest in New Jersey. The 1.77 percent salary increase ranked as the 334th highest year-over-year change in New Jersey.

The Jersey City Golden Door Charter School median salary of $111,179 ranks at 404th highest.

The Jersey City Global Charter School has an average salary of $90,000, good for 574th highest.

The Jersey City Community Charter School ranks at 555th with median salary of $94,000.

The median statewide salary is $125,207, a 1 percent increase over 2018.

The information is part of the state Department of Education's Taxpayer's Guide to Education Spending, which shows the median salary for every New Jersey school district.

In addition to median salaries, the site also shows each district's total spending, average daily enrollment and students from sending districts, the per-pupil costs and the district's total budget spending for 2019.
