Jersey City Heights Fire Causes Bus Detours: NJ Transit

A fire in Jersey City Heights caused NJ Transit bus detours on Friday afternoon, the agency said.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Several NJ Transit bus routes were detoured on Friday afternoon due to a fire in Jersey City Heights.

The transit agency said that routes 87, 88 and 199 through the city were being detoured away due to a fire near Central Avenue and Reservoir Avenue.

Internet reports and videos noted a smoky fire on Reservoir Avenue around 4 p.m.
