Inmate Dies After Being Found Unresponsive In Hudson County Jail: Prosecutor
A Hudson County man, 32, died after being found unresponsive at the county jail this weekend, prosecutors said.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A 32-year-old Jersey City man was found unresponsive at the Hudson County Correctional Facility over the weekend, prosecutors said Monday.
Staff found John Finucane unresponsive in his cell just after 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, said the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said that onside medical staff rendered aid. Finucane was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 8:30 a.m.

The state Attorney General's Office was notified in accordance with state guidelines, prosecutors said.
The matter is under investigation, prosecutors said.
