Jersey City Man Pinned Under Linden Car Dies, 57
The man was identified as Michael Ohman Jr., 57 — officials said he died of his injuries.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A Jersey City man who was hit by and pinned underneath a car in Linden on Wednesday died of his injuries late Thursday, Linden police said.
The man was identified as Michael Ohman Jr., 57. Ohman had been crossing the street when he was hit and pinned under a car on E. Elizabeth Ave in Linden.
Workers from a nearby auto-body shop were able to lift the vehicle and help free him, Linden police said.

The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old Linden man, was not injured in the crash.
This crash remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau and the Union County Homicide Task Force. Anyone with information about the crash is urged to contact Investigator Ryan Zaccaro at (908) 474-8505.
