JERSEY CITY, NJ — A city restaurant has been named to New Jersey Monthly's annual list of the 30 best restaurants in New Jersey.
Cellar 335's food "is better than it has to be, and better it's ever been," chef Jamie Knott said of the restaurant and New Jersey Monthly agreed.
Crispy pork ribs with coconut, sesame, and barbecue sauce have always been on the menu and "for good reason," the magazine said.

New Jersey Monthly says the state's restaurant climate is in a "golden age" and, as a result, the publication increased its annual list of the state's best restaurants from 25 to 30 positions. Seven of the restaurants didn't make the top list last year, the publication said.
Felina in Ridgewood, The Hill in Closter, Osteria Crescendo in Westwood, and the Saddle River Inn were the other Bergen County restaurants were named to the list.
