A loose timeframe was given for the highly anticipated grocer to open in Jersey City.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — Signage is still up and doors are still closed, but Jersey City residents are getting a bit more information about when the highly anticipated Whole Foods will open.
Ward E Councilman James Solomon responded to questions on Reddit, saying the Whole Foods is slated to open mid-2022. The Whole Foods is located in the Harborside 4A location, at the corner of Washington Street and Columbus Drive.
Some movement on the grocer has been happening behind the scenes as well this summer. In June, the Jersey City Whole Foods location was approved for a liquor license renewal, meaning the grocer could sell wine and beer.
