Lottery Winner Who Bought Ticket In Jersey City's Newport Section Will Split $1M

Two people in North Jersey will split a jackpot of more than $1 million. One of the winning lottery tickets was sold in Hudson County.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A lucky person who bought a lottery ticket late last week near the Hudson County waterfront is now $525,000 richer.

According to the NJ Lottery, two lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $1,050,680 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Saturday, Nov. 25, drawing.

The tickets were sold at the following locations:

Each ticket is worth $525,340. The winning numbers were: 11, 23, 25, 26 and 45 and the XTRA number was: 02.

The retailers who sold the tickets will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket.
