Officials Search For Newark Man Wanted For Shooting Jersey City Woman

Hudson County officials are looking for Jimmy B. Colclough who is wanted in connection with the death of a 30-year-old Jersey City woman.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is looking for a Newark man wanted in connection with the February fatal shooting of a Jersey City woman.

An arrest warrant it out for Jimmy B. Colclough, 30, of Newark. He is facing two counts of Attempted Murder, two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (Handgun) and Possession of a Weapon (Handgun) for an Unlawful Purpose.

Anyone who sees Jimmy Colclough should not approach him, but should immediately contact the police.

On Feb. 10, the Jersey City Police Department was called to Old Bergen Road and Neptune Avenue for a report of shots fired. When officers got to the scene they found three shooting victims, a 30-year-old Jersey City woman, later identified as Raven Harris, as well as two men, 28- and 29-years-old. The three victims were taken to Jersey City Medical Center.

Harris was pronounced dead at approximately 10:30 p.m. that night. The Northern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death to be Multiple Gunshot Wounds and the manner of death to be Homicide. The two men were treated for their injuries and released.
