Jersey Diner That Was Site Of 'Sopranos' Episode To Reopen After Closure

Did you hear the news? A North Jersey diner that was used in a "Sopranos" episode can now reopen, a report says.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A diner in Jersey City that was the site of a "Sopranos" episode is set to reopen after a short period of closure, NJ.com reported.

The VIP Diner, at the corner of Sip Avenue and Kennedy Blvd., was a filming location for season 6, "Kaisha." In that episode, Tony Soprano visits Phil Leotardo in prison after Phil has a heart attack, and gives him words of wisdom.

This is not the restaurant where Tony (supposedly) was about to get "whacked" in the last episode. That would be the Holstens ice cream parlor in Bloomfield.
