Nor'Easter Dropped Nearly 4 Inches Of Rain On Jersey City

Sunny skies might stick around for the next few days before it's back to rain this weekend.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — The forecast calls for sunny skies in Jersey City — albeit with a fair amount of wind Wednesday. But in the days after this week's nor'easter, the city could still see more rain over the weekend.

Jersey City received 4 inches of rain in the past 48 hours, according to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. The storm resulted in Tuesday's closure of Jersey City Public Schools.

The National Weather Service predicts Jersey City will get a break from the rain — at least until Friday, when the agency anticipates showers into Saturday.
