Pizza Guru Dave Portnoy May Move Company To Hudson County If Mamdani Wins, He Says
Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy, known for pizza reviews, was quoted as saying he may move his NYC offices to a Hudson County town.
NORTH JERSEY — It's almost become a cliche at this point for people to claim they're leaving New York City if their preferred candidate doesn't win the mayor's race Tuesday. But Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy, famous for his "one-bite pizza reviews," may follow the pizza.
Portnoy said on a football game livestream this week that if Zohran Mamdani wins the mayor's race in New York City on Tuesday, he may move his offices to Hudson County.
"Honestly? I've given that a lot of thought," he said. "And he's definitely going to win — going to, like, Hoboken or like, Jersey City or something? I don't want to ----ing have an office. But then we have all those people who, like, that [messes] up their life just because I hate the guy. Like all the people in the New York office have to go to Jersey City, or they got to go to Hoboken?"

He added, "But then a part of me is like, how much will really change? But I really have given it thought. I told our finance guy, start looking around for property."
Jersey City is home to one of the best-reviewed pizza restaurants in the country, Razza, and Hoboken has some notable pizza too, including Benny Tudino's, home of giant slices.
