Missing Jersey City Heights Teen Found, Councilman Says (UPDATE)

A teen was missing from Jersey City Heights and left a note, the councilman for the area said.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — UPDATE: The teen has been found, Councilman Saleh said Friday night.

A family is urgently searching for a Jersey City teen who walked out of her home in the Heights on Thursday night, a councilman said.

"NEED your help in locating [the teen] from the Jersey City Ward D Heights area. Praying for her family and that she’s brought home safely - PLEASE RESHARE," wrote Councilman Yousef Saleh on social media.

He shared a poster from police that says that the teen took her toothbrush and left a note saying "Don't call cops I'm safe I'll come back home Monday I need space and time."
