Several Jersey City Roads Flooded, More Rain To Come
Jersey City suspended parking ticketing on Tuesday due to the storm as well.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Don't let the brief halt in rain fool you, several Jersey City streets already started seeing some flooding and more rain is expected tonight.
The city posted a list of roads seeing flooding on Twitter. The roads are as follows:
· Jersey Avenue Bridge
· 18th & Marin Blvd
· 18th & Grove St
· Center/Merselles St
· 700 Grove St

Jersey City suspended parking ticketing on Tuesday due to the storm as well, according to Mayor Steven Fulop's tweets. He said, while the city isn't ticketing, "We are doing our best to get to the catch basins so that we minimize flooding. We will work around the cars if they aren’t moved but we can use the help if possible to move."
Jersey City Public Schools acted quickly on Monday night, cancelling school for Tuesday.

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy issued a state of emergency on Monday and said Tuesday afternoon that the next big threat from the nor'easter swirling over the state is heavy wind that could knock down power lines and cause outages as late as Wednesday afternoon.
Jersey City has 14 "repeat flooding" intersections throughout the city, identified by the Jersey City's Municipal Utilities Authority. During heavy rains and flooding, drivers and residents should use extra caution and avoid the intersections when possible.
The intersections are as follows:
1) 9th Street & Brunswick Avenue
2) Linden Avenue & Princeton Avenue
3) Kellogg Street & Route 440 (DOT Drainage)
4) Westside Avenue & Audubon Avenue
5) Fisk Street & Route 440 (DOT Drainage)
6) Culver Avenue & Route 440 (DOT Drainage)
7) Grove Street Between Jersey City & Hoboken
8) Marin Blvd Between Jersey City & Hoboken
9) Merseles Street & Wayne Street
10) Center Street & Bright Street11) Clendenny Avenue & Marcy Avenue
12) Richard Street just East of Garfield Avenue
13) Manholes on Montgomery Street (Florence St to Mill Rd)
14) Cornelison Avenue
