Target Jersey City Hosts Holiday Alpine Village Experience for Big Brothers Big Sisters “Littles”
Target provides local kids with a creative LEGO build event and $100 Target gift cards for holiday presents
JERSEY CITY, NJ (December 7, 2025) – On Sunday, December 7, at the Target store located at 100 14th St in Jersey City, Target hosted a special LEGO Holiday Alpine Village experience for Big Brothers Big Sisters “Littles,” their families, and "Bigs", transforming the store into a festive, hands-on play space and celebration designed to spark creativity.
The store’s seasonal display area was transformed into a festive Alpine Village, packed with interactive, family-friendly activities. LEGO Brand Ambassadors welcomed guests, as a live DJ filled the space with holiday energy. Kids explored a series of immersive stations, including a mini figurine build station, a holiday photo moment, and craft stations.
“This holiday event was about turning our store into a place where our guests and their families could make memories,” said Simone Glenn, Merchandising Director, Target. “We were so excited to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters and bring a little extra joy to our community this season.”

In partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters, a total of 18 Littles, their families, and Bigs participated in the experience. After completing the LEGO activities, each Little received a $100 Target Gift Card to shop at the store and choose holiday gifts.
“At Big Brothers Big Sisters, we’re about building relationships through mentorship and within our community. It’s important for us to come together and share positive experiences like this during the holiday season,” said Viviana Baeza, Director of Partnerships, BBBS Essex, Hudson, and Union Counties. “It’s amazing to have our community together, and we’re thankful to Target for their partnership because our kids are all walking away with a smile on their face today.”

Throughout the event, the store’s LEGO Brand Ambassadors and Target team members guided kids through the build stations and celebrated Littles’ creations with their families and Bigs.
