A long-awaited Whole Foods supermarket in Jersey City announced on Wednesday when they'll open and gave details on opening day freebies.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A major supermarket opening anywhere is big news, but in downtown Jersey City, residents have seen their Whole Foods Market under construction for quite a while without an opening date.
On Wednesday, the chain finally shared details of an upcoming opening day, a celebration, and giveaways for shoppers.
The new supermarket won't just be a food store — it'll have a coffee bar, a "senior forager" who helps pick products, and items from more than a dozen area farms.
