Winning NJ Lottery Ticket Sold In Hudson County Liquor Store; Powerball Jackpot At $124M

As the Powerball jackpot rolls to $124M, a lucky person won the NJ Lottery with a ticket from a Hudson County liquor store.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Someone who stopped into a liquor store and deli on the west side of Hoboken to play the NJ lottery numbers last week is now a little richer.

And they bought their ticket just steps from the childhood home of Frank Sinatra on Monroe Street — just in time to celebrate the crooner's birthdate today.

The third-tier prizewinning ticket was sold for the Friday, Dec. 9 drawing at Ottomanelli Liquors & Deli, 422 Monroe St., Hoboken.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn, winning a $10,000 prize.

In addition to the third-tier prize won, 31 players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500. Five of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier, multiplying the prizes to $2,000. Moreover, 38,230 other New Jersey players took home $191,394 in prizes ranging from $2 to $800.

The winning numbers for the drawing were: 08, 19, 53, 61 and 69. The Gold Mega Ball was 19, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.

Powerball Jackpot Rolls to $124M; Drawing Monday Night

Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has rolled to $124M for a drawing to be held today, Monday, Dec. 12 at 10:59 p.m. Wouldn't you like to win that chunk o' change?



For Saturday's drawing, the winning numbers were 09, 23, 47, 49, and 68. The Red Power Ball number was 19. The Power Play was 2X. 21,332 New Jersey players took home an estimated $111,252 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.
