Forked River Teen Indicted on Drug, Theft Charges
Ocean County grand juries hand up indictments

A Forked River teen was indicted on several charges after being arrested in the township Sept. 20.
A 15-year-old boy from Lake Barnegat Drive stole more than $500 in gold rings from a Lacey woman and then tried to flee from police, according to an indictment handed up last week by an Ocean County grand jury.
The teen also was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance for allegedly having oxycodone in his possession, the indictment states.

The teen was held on $5,000 bail but posted Oct. 7. As a condition of his bail, he is not to have any contact with the victim and must attend a drug rehabilitation program.

- Crystal M. Clancy, 19, of Forked River on a shoplifting charge.
Clancy is accused of stealing more than $500 in jewelry from the Sears in Toms River on Dec. 12. She was initially held on $20,000 bail but posted Dec. 23.
- Brandon R. Koppenjian and Joseph Appolonia, both of Forked River, on theft and criminal mischief charges.
Koppenjian and Appolonia, both 18, are accused of stealing more than $500 in drainage gates from L&L Property Enterprises, LLC from Nov. 30 to Dec. 8. Additionally, the pair caused more than $2,000 in damage to the business, the indictment states.
Appolonia was released on a summons while Koppenjian was initially jailed on $20,000 bail but posted Dec. 16.
