June 15: Report Cards, Food Drive, Kite Flying

1. Fourth marking period report cards for the Lacey Township School District are available on the portal.

2. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. a food drive will take place at to support the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties in Neptune. The FoodBank is looking for non-perishable food only (no glass items). Suggested items: ready-to-eat canned meals, canned meat, canned tuna, canned fruits, canned vegetables, instant mashed potatoes, canned and dry soup, peanut butter, jelly, boxed rice, canned pork and beans, canned juices, sip-sized juices, hot or cold cereal and non-perishable milk. There will also be a collection bucket to make a financial contribution.

3. In honor of Global Wind Day, there will be a community kite-flying event at Island Beach State Park. Kite liftoff is at noon. Admission to the event and beach entrance fees for all participants Is free.

4. Tryouts for a 15 and under Lacey soccer team will take place at 6:00 p.m. at . Email consifam@verizon.net for more information.

5. It’s Country Line Dancing Night at the Laurita Winery in New Egypt at 7 p.m. There will be dance lessons followed by dance and music request.
