June 18: School Board Meeting, Book Discussion, County Connection Services

1. There will b e a book discussion on The Help by Kathryn Stockett at the at 1 p.m. Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk.

2. A free program for senior citizens is being offered by the Center for Healthy Aging at Kimball Medical Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program S.A.F.E., Stopping Accidental Falls in Elders, will teach seniors fall prevention and how to stay safe at home.

3. Workforce of New Jersey will be at the County Connection in Toms River from 5:45 to 9:30 p.m. to offer job search assistance to Ocean County residents.

4. St. Francis Church Hall in Long Beach Island will be holding a Labyrinth Walk from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

5. There’s a school board meeting in the lecture hall at 7:30 p.m. Join Lacey Patch at that time for live coverage.
