Lacey-Based Peruvian Food Truck To Open Physical Location

Fans of the SnowChi Peruvian food trailer will be pleased to know that by next month, they'll be able to eat at a permanent location.

LACEY, NJ — The Lacey-based Peruvian food trailer, SnowChi, will soon be opening a physical location, owner Gianella Kaplan told Patch.

SnowChi's opening day at 1990 NJ-88 in Brick will be Nov. 6, Kaplan said.

It was a "pain" finding a location, but Kaplan was eager for SnowChi to finally have a spot of its own.

Kaplan and her husband, Andrew, Lacey residents, have been selling their Peruvian eats throughout Ocean County at various events over the past year. Born in Lima, Peru, Kaplan's menu includes authentic Peruvian cuisine, including empanadas, pan con chicharron (a pork sandwich) and salchipapa, hot dogs served over French fries and covered in ketchup, mustard with a side of shredded lettuce.
