Lacey Cops Looking For Whoever Set Fireworks Off In Home
Police estimate $900 in damage done to bedroom, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Fourth of July is long over.
Lacey Township police are looking for the person who entered a Tappan Street home on mischief night and set fireworks off in one of the bedrooms, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
Officer Jason Lee responded to the 500 block of Tappan Street in Forked River at 10:06 p.m. on Oct. 30 . The homeowner reported that between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. that night, someone entered her son's bedroom and set off fireworks, the chief said.

The fireworks burned the rug, the bed, a sweatshirt and put a hole in the ceiling. Damage to the bedroom is estimated at $900, DiBella said.
