Lacey Man Upgraded to Fair Condition After ATV Accident

Edward Williscroft was listed in critical condition for at least two weeks after he was tossed from an ATV

A Lacey Township man was upgraded to fair condition three weeks after he was ejected from an all terrain vehicle (ATV) in Lakewood Township.

Edward Williscroft, 42, of Forked River was traveling at a high rate of speed on an ATV as he approached a stop sign at the intersection of Pine Acre Boulevard and Jeffery Street , said David Silberstein, a Lakewood Police traffic safety officer.

Unable to stop, Williscroft turned the steering wheel, which caused the ATV to overturn, he said. He was ejected and struck several trees.
