Lacey Police Charge Barnegat Woman With Drunk Driving

Arrest came after a motor vehicle stop for erratic driving, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police recently arrested a Barnegat woman and charged her with drunk driving after she was spotted driving erratically in the area of Manchester and Haines avenues, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Anthony Sarno conducted a motor vehicle stop at 1:15 am. on Nov. 7. Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of Amanda Tuttle, 21, Highland Drive, Barnegat for driving while intoxicated. She was transported to police headquarters and processed. She was also issued motor vehicle summonses for reckless driving and driving with an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, the chief said.

The vehicle she was driving was impounded pursuant to John’s Law.
