Lacey Police Investigating Credit Card Fraud

Victim found two credit cards had been opened without her knowledge.

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey police are investigating two instances of credit card fraud which resulted in $900 in charges, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.

Officer Daniel Ricciardella responded to police headquarters at 11:32 a.m. on Nov. 1 on a fraud report. The victim told police she found a credit card issued to her that she had never applied for, the chief said.

The victim thinks that someone else in the household opened up the account without her authorization. The victim obtained a credit report and found another card had been opened under her name that she did not apply for, DiBella said.
