Lacey Resident Kicked by Horse, Flown to Hospital
A Lacey female suffered injuries after being double kicked by a horse at her residence

A female Lacey resident was flown to the hospital after she was double kicked by a horse on Tuesday, May 1, police said.
The resident, whose name is being withheld, was kicked by a horse in the rib and upper thigh area at her residence on the 1900 block of West Lacey Road while caring for the animal at approximately 7:15 p.m.
She was flown by MONOC to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment.

The Lacey Township Police Department and Lacey EMS responded to the scene. The Forked River Fire Department assisted by setting up the landing zone for the helicopter at the Lacey Township Department of Public Works.
