What drove you to seek public office?
I am a longtime resident and local businessman with deep ties to the community. My parents always volunteered their time around Lacey and they instilled that same quality in myself.
What sets you apart from other candidates?
I have been here since 1971, and I have attended all the schools from K-12. I am fortunate to have made a living and supported my family locally in a homebuilding business which is difficult to do in highly regulated New Jersey. I have now served on the council for 12 years and understand the demands of the town’s budget and finances and its effect on the taxpayers.
What is the most pressing issue facing Lacey?
Affordability
If elected, what will your top priority be?
I want to continue to make Lacey a desirable place to live and to maintain the quality of life our residents have come to expect.
What is your favorite thing about living in Lacey?
I had a great time growing up in Lacey and still enjoy it. The town has changed a lot since I've been here but it still has a small town, family-oriented spirit that persists and I will do my best to maintain it.
