Lacey's 'Friday Night Lights' Canceled Due To Poor Weather
The popular event at Gille Park is canceled tonight because of possible thunderstorms, police chief says

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lacey's Gille Park Skate Park evening event, more popularly known as "Friday Night Lights" will be canceled tonight due to possible thunderstorms, Police Chief Michael C. DiBella said.
The next skate park event will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, at Gille Park, the chief said.
The event usually features a live DJ, lighting provided by the Lacey Township Police Department and local fire departments, Lacey EMS and Lanoka Harbor EMS..

The event also usually includes a mobile gaming trailer provided by "Party Crashers" with age-appropriate games for the children.
The skate park is specifically for the use of skateboards, scooters, and in-line skates. Bicycles are not permitted. All users are required to wear a helmet in the skate park at all times, and follow all of the posted skate park rules. Bottled water will be permitted in the park.

Additional 2018 skate park evening events will be held on Oct. 5, Oct.19, and Nov. 2nd, 2018.
