May 10: Senior Citizens Day Trip, Book and Media Sale, Committee Meeting

1. The township Recreation Department will be hosting a senior citizens day trip to the Columbus Market in Columbus, NJ for a day of shopping, tasting and antiquing. The bus will depart from at 8 a.m. The cost for the trip is $6 per person.

3. The Ocean County Health Department is conducting free blood pressure screenings at the County Connection in Toms River from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

4. The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences will be holding an artists potluck from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Loveladies. The night includes the opportunity to meet local artists and watch visiting artist demonstrations.

5. There is a township committee meeting at the at 7 p.m.
