May 8: Book Sale Donations, County Connection Mobile, Meet the Mayor

1. Today’s a drop-off day for the Friends of the Annual Books/Media Sale. All donations of books and media, including tapes, CDs and DVDs can be brought to the Lacey Library Meeting Room. All proceeds will be used to enhance the library and provide more programs. Donations can be made from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The sale will begin on Wednesday, May 9.

2. County Connection Mobile will be at the library at 10 a.m. Stop by to utilize the resources the County Connection provides including passport assistance and senior services.

3. The Board of Social Services will be present at the County Connection in Toms River from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to provide information on assistance programs to eligible Ocean County residents.

4. The Ocean Theatre Company will present the Nunsense Hollywood Bowl Show, a musical comedy about the Little Sisters of Hoboken who have been invited to sing at the Hollywood Bowl, in the Bengal Auditorium at the Barnegat High School at 3 p.m.

5. Meet the Mayor at the Lacey Library at 6:30 p.m.
