LACEY, NJ — What's better than a fresh bagel from your favorite local spot?

There was one overwhelming response that many readers agreed on.

JT's Bagel Hut is the best, according to Patch readers.

"I live an hour away but I’ll drive up there just for bagels!" one commenter said.

Fans love that the everything bagel is actually covered entirely with seasoning.

Plus, their French toast bagel is a crowd favorite (and we can confirm it's insanely delicious).

But Sunrise Bagel also has a great French toast bagel, and some prefer that spot.

"I was JT's all the way till I tried Sunrise," a Patch reader shared.

"I live closer to JT's but go further out of my way for Sunrise," another agreed.
