LACEY, NJ — It's time to chow down on one of New Jersey's culinary delights: the bagel.

Whether you prefer a pork roll, egg and cheese or a simple cream cheese spread, there's no denying that these delicious baked goods are super popular, and everyone has their own opinion on which is the best.

Patch asked its readers where they find the best bagels in Lacey. The answer probably won't come as a surprise to most residents - the majority thinks JT's Bagel Hut is the absolute winner.

In fact, there were hardly any other votes. JT's is the best, at least, according to Patch readers. More than one proclaimed it to be the "best bagel ever."

One reader's go-to order is a French toast bagel with pork roll, egg and cheese, which sounds like a tasty mix of sweet and savory.

But Lacey has more than one bagel shop, and another reader shared that Sunrise Bagels was their favorite. She said not only do they have great bagels, sandwiches and more, but their staff is friendly as well.
