Oct. 23: Recycling, Toddler Time

1. Single-stream recycling will be picked up in Zone 4. To determine whether your home is in Zone 4, click here for a recycling map.

2. It's Toddler Time at the Lacey Township branch of the Ocean County Library, 10 E. Lacey Road, at 10:30 a.m. for ages 2-3 with an adult. Call 609-693-8566 for more information.

3. The Ocean County YMCA, 1088 W. Whitty Road, Toms River, will welcome the YMCA Youth Leadership Club at 7 p.m. Registration is ongoing.

4. The Lacey Township High School Parent Teacher Student Association is looking for vendors for the annual craft and vendor fair. The fair will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations for vendors are $35 for a 7-foot space. 

5. Camp Bow Wow, 695 Challenger Way, Forked River, will sponsor a Howl-o-ween Doggy Costume Contest starting Monday. Dog owners who bring their pooches to camp dressed in their Halloween costumes will receive a 25 percent off bath coupon. The dogs will be photographed and posted on Facebook, with the pooch with the most likes by Halloween winning the grand prize.
