Shipwreck Games: The New Gaming Store Coming To Lacey

LACEY, NJ — Gamers in Lacey will soon have a new spot to frequent. Shipwreck Games, a new locally-owned gaming store, has its grand opening on May 21.

The store started out as an online only store by one of the owners, Scott, Caitlin Tripler from Shipwreck Games told Patch.

"Scott has worked hard to bring Dan and I together as owners and bring this retail store from an idea to a physical brick and mortar," Tripler said.

The owners are local and wanted to bring the store to the community, Tripler said.

Tripler said they want to provide a family-friendly environment and carry products that gamers in the community are involved in.

Shipwreck Games carries tabletop games, trading card games and other gaming accessories. The store features popular brands like Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, Warhammer 40K, Star Wars Legion and more, Tripler said.

The store's grand opening is May 21, from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Anyone who is interested is invited to "come and see what we have available for any of your gaming needs," Tripler said.
