Verbal Altercation Leads To Crash In Lacey: Police

Police said a pedestrian was struck last week after a verbal altercation between the man and the driver of a passing vehicle.

LACEY, NJ — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near Lakeside Drive South and Ravine Drive this past week after a verbal altercation, Lacey police said.

Officers responded to the incident at 4:51 p.m. on Dec. 28th, and an investigation found a man was struck after a verbal altercation between him and the driver of a passing vehicle, police said.

Following the altercation, the vehicle pulled away striking the pedestrian.

The man was transported for a medical evaluation, according to police. Authorities did not identify the man.

Lacey police are investigating the incident and seeking the vehicle involved.
