LAKEWOOD, NJ — Lakewood police are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting that happened Monday evening on Cedar Street, police said Tuesday.
Police received a 911 call about 9:15 p.m. Monday from a Cedar Street resident reporting a loud pop, Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith said.
The caller told police he saw a black pickup truck in the area at the same time, and a broken glass bottle in the road, Staffordsmith said.

Officer Conner Woods then found a black Chevy Silverado a few blocks away that was believed to be involved, based on the investigation, he said.
