How Much Snow Did Lakewood Get? Show Us!

LAKEWOOD, NJ — For the second time this week, Lakewood residents are dealing with snowfall. This time, however, it actually left a decent coating in the township.

So how much did the town get? According to the National Weather Service, 5 inches, from a report at 8 a.m.

In other words, enough snow to plow and enough for the Lakewood Public Schools to call for a snow day.

The snow started falling between midnight and 1 a.m., as the forecast had predicted, and unlike Monday when the snow never really materialized in a significant way in Lakewood, the prediction for 3 to 6 inches of snow in Ocean County held up.
