LAKEWOOD, NJ — The polls have closed in New Jersey for the 2023 general election, and now it's time for the tallying.
In Lakewood, there were contested races for two, three-year terms on the Township Committee; for three, three-year terms on the Board of Education, and two, three-year terms on the Fire District.
Here are the unofficial vote totals for the candidates. They will be updated as the totals become available. The results of the election do not become official until they are certified by the Ocean County Clerk.
