2 Children In Critical Condition After Car Crash In Lawrence: PD

Five other non-life-threatening injuries were also reported, police said.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Two children were critically injured in a two-car crash that took place in Lawrence Township on Friday morning, Lawrence Police said.

Around 11:19 a.m, police responded to the intersection of Brunswick Pike and Darrah Lane for a report of a two-car motor vehicle crash.

On arrival, officers found two children, ages 11 and 5 unconscious and unresponsive in the backseat of one of the vehicles, Police Chief Chris Longo said.
Both children were immediately taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton. They were then airlifted to RWJ-New Brunswick where they are both listed in critical condition, Longo said.

Five other non-life-threatening injuries were also reported. The cause of the crash is still under investigation and no further information is currently available.
