The journey to end cancer starts with a single step. The American Cancer Society invites you to take that step with us by joining the global Relay For Life movement. When you walk to end cancer at a Relay event, it's your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost, but also to raise awareness about what we can do to stay well from cancer and raise money to help fuel the world's largest walk to end cancer.

American Legion Riders 3rd Annual Bike and Car Show is Saturday, May 18, 2013 (Rain date Sunday May 19) to benefit Veterans Haven. Food, beer, door prizes, 50-50 drawing and live music. Picnic admission is $5. Picnic and bike/car entry is $10. For more information call 609-771-4143.

Lawrenceville Applebee’s will be hosting a Flapjack Fundraiser in support of the Lawrence Township Annual Independence Day Fireworks Show. From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., guests can indulge in delicious, homemade pancakes while supporting the Township’s exciting fireworks show. Tickets are $7 per person, $5 for children under 12. Presenting a magic show for children and adults given by the Harry Blackstone Chapter of the American Magicians as a benefit for Adath Israel Congregation & the Arlene Sharlin Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Adults $10 & Children (10 & under) $7 --- $12 & $8 at the door. Refreshments & magic for sale during intermission as well as the performance of close-up magic.
